The other day I was on my lunch break and attempting to find myself a Subway. After taking a couple of wrong turns I had no idea were the closest one was. Suddenly this yellow weird-looking truck came into view near Fremont. I quickly noticed it was a food truck.

The truck was for the “Cheese Wizards”. Their specialty, grilled cheese sandwiches. I was so glad that I stopped. I am a huge grilled cheese fan and I instantly got really excited. However, I didn’t want to drop too much cash on lunch so I just ordered their basic sandwich.

While I waited they let me have a sample of their tomato basil soup. The wizards even included a little piece of cheese to dip in the soup. The basil really popped and brought the tomato flavor to life. I plan on ordering some the next time I go, it would be an awesome side to dip my sandwich in!

The grilled cheese was just that, a grilled cheese. But the difference between their grilled cheese and those I have had before is this one was cooked to perfection. The bread was crispy and had a hint of butter flavor and the cheese was creamy. They also provided a curry ketchup, which was very flavorful. The cheese wizards was a great twist on an old favorite and I will be tracking them down for lunch again shortly.

I wish I had more food trucks driving around my town. There’s nothing better than an amazing grilled cheese and soup!
