I thought I would partake in Sally’s new link-up she just started. I think is a great idea for everyone to better get to know one another. Especially since many of the simple things about ourselves go unaddressed on blogs, since we are usually writing about other things. Check out Sally’s website, Forward From The Heart, if you want to partake as well!
Age: I am 29 going on 30. So technically this should be a big year for me. But the cool thing is in my 29th year I am living way better than in any other time in my life. So I am not scared of 30 at all. In fact let it happen because I am loving every moment in the present and looking fondly towards the future…how is that for positivity?!?
Location: Seattle, WA. Again another positive in my life. I love the Pacific Northwest and everything about it. I settled here from Ontario, Canada and I haven’t looked back since. Ontario treated me well but Seattle provides me the ocean, big trees, lots of exploring, and really really good seafood.
Fun Fact: The only place outside of North America I have been is Costa Rica. That is not for lack of wanting to travel, just the cards that have been dealt. Mel and I spent a month in a bungalo by the ocean in 2008 and had an amazing experience. I look fondly back to that trip, even the times I crashed our scooter rental and when our shuttle van broke down in the middle of the jungle. I may have to post about those stories sometime, especially now since they are funny to look back upon.
Okay now it is your turn. Go to Forward From The Heart to partake!
Are you sure it’s not 29 going on 12
You HAVE to post about Costa Rica! A whole month!? I am soo jealous!

You should do a post on Costa Rica! I bet there was some good food down there…
There was! There was this one random soda that made the best burger I have ever had. The beef was so freaking good and it came with a fried egg and a slice of ham on top. I didn’t expect much from the place but it turned out to be one of my best food memories!
I want to hear about the Costa Rica trip! Went there last winter and had an amazing time (although how can an escape to warm, sunny, and beach be bad in the winter?)–although no scooter crashes were involved, and now I’m kinda disappointed…

OMG… I just have to laugh when you mention crashing a scooter during vacation time. When my husband and I went to the Bahamas… he crashed the scooter we went on. Looking back at it was pretty funny because he did it by a sign that said “Arrive Alive!”
